2007 Happenings
(or .... What We Did in 2007)
NEW CHAMPION Doozer!! Doozer finished with a 5-ptd major in May. Fox earned his second major - another  4-pointer - by going WD/BOW. Fox also completed his UKC Championship and his IABCA Championship. He also completed his Canine Good Citizen (CGC). Piper completed her AKC, UKC, and IABCA Championships and was retired to the whelping box. Her first litter gave us three boys! Another of Kathleen's Samoyeds, here from Canada (Tank), earned 10 points (including both majors) before his owner wanted him back home. Tank also earned his IABCA Championship while he was here. We also showed Ronan (Samoyed) earning him 7 points, Killian (Samoyed) earning him 6 points in just 5 weekends of shows, and Mira (Samoyed), a Major Reserve at her very first show. Also shown were Breezy (Golden) and Gunner (Brittany). Brenden won his first Best Junior handler award with Doozer and a little later in the year went Best Junior handler with Fox.
Sadly, we lost Isis to bloat/liver failure and the following day lost Kes to osteosarcoma. A couple of months later, one of Tia's puppies passed away due to ovarian cancer.
